Wimberley Glassworks is looking for a part-time sales associate to assist with gallery sales and order fulfillment.

Job Summary

  • Daily tasks include greeting and assisting customers with purchases; maintaining a clean gallery space; engaging and educating customers while developing sales leads
  • Balance complex clientele that includes day-trippers, art enthusiasts, and high-end lighting customers
  • Follow up on sales leads, maintaining customer relationships, and additional projects that allow for focused sales efforts and growth
  • Work as a team player to ensure top quality customer service and meeting sales goals
  • Resolve customer complaints and inquiries regarding sales and service
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance of self and gallery
  • Display strong product/company knowledge
  • Work independently and within a team with focus on completion of tasks while balancing customer needs
  • Receive and quality control incoming lighting fixture inventory in warehouse
  • Safely package and ship customer orders on weekly to semi-weekly basis

Job Qualifications

  • Must display a motivated personality with a team-mindset
  • Experience: 1-3 years of sales and customer service experience (art or home décor sales experience is preferred, but not necessary)
  • Availability to a work Weekends and Holidays between 9-5:30, sometimes after hours during special events
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

Compensation

  • Hourly wage and a monthly commission based on sales team’s performance
